I also think having a few more flavours of ice cream in different colours would have added to the "indulgent" feel and made the picture more interesting to look at. I do like this though! | Photographer found comment helpful. |

Most images if they are at least in focus, have met the challenge and show a bit of originality don't do too bad. Taking a second to perhaps slow the car a bit, assuming you wanted the blur and motion shake, or taking the pick at early dawn or dusk so that the shutter speed would not have had to be so long would have helped out a lot. You still get the same effect of a night shot with motion, but the wobble would not have been as bad.
Sorry about not commenting, but I was trying to finish voting and figured your were already going to get several "focus" complaints so why add another one. I normally comment on my 3's and 4's, but sometimes when it is obvious what the problem is, I figure someone else will say the same thing I would.
Don't give up, shoot and process using some of the fundamental principles in photography, i.e. composition, lighting, focus and you will notice your score will do nothing but increase. | Photographer found comment helpful. |

How is the viewer expected to know whether you are a rotten photographer shooting for the Brown ribbon or a genius? All DPCers have to go on when voting is technical skills and after that what they find appealing or interesting. This image has virtually none of that to offer. Again, who's to say whether you did a great or bad job here, unless you expect the voter to assume the best of any image, in which case, truly bad images might be awarded unduly. With all due respect, I wouldn't comment on this image as there's limited time to vote and comment. There are many other images in each Challenge that I can actually get a handle on or try to make sense out of, within my scope of perception that get my attention.
