The flower shows nicely against the dark background, and your method of B&W conversion works well for the subject. I am less convinced by the composition, which to my eyes doesn't really compliment the subject, and appears somewhat dull.

This is a view my wife has become very familiar with over the years, and was up until recently (thank science for some wonderful anti-nausea drugs) again experiencing several time a day... though he bucket lacked the feathers.

Nice image. I love the feathers and the processing. Initially, I wasn't sure about the composition, though the more I look at it, the better the non-centred bucket is. I perhaps may have not cropped so close to the handle on the left, and may have cropped out the bar at the bottom of the image... and perhaps straighten the horizontal bars...

Things needs to be sharper here. I dont have a problem with bluring but currently there is nothing sharp in this pic which breaks it down for me. It needs to be level as well
