bad shuffleby posthumousComment by mariuca: Very nice idea that could be further developed. I feel that it was done too hastily - so was the shuffle.
I like its freshness though and am delighted to see these cards.

hedge fundby posthumousComment by snaffles: Greetings from the Critique Club!!
Apart from the sign in the window, this could almost be a jagar, imho. Clearly the commenters *get* what's going on here and you're trying to stave off the creditors just a little bit longer.
A few minor compositional bugaboos...the sign is almost centred which gives a little bit of a heavy-handedness to the concept, which I don't think it needs. The arm across the man's midsection cuts things up a bit further, if he'd been more in the act of taping up the sign than barring the door afterwards I think it would have been much stronger. I do like the use of b/w though as it gives a timeless feel to this timeless dilemma.
Keep on shooting O Mighty Leader!

swankyby posthumousComment by snaffles: Greetings from the Critique Club!
A very voyeurish shot, I feel like I'm hiding and watching from the bushes to the right. Good catch just as the one foot is solidly planted and the other in mid-air. The shape of her body is echoed somewhat in the path. Does she know you're there? Is she storming off in a huff or is she deliberatly putting some swank into her walk just to show you what you're missing? So many questions, so little time before she vanishes from view.
Feel free to PM me,

Man with mustache reflected in a full-sized bed sheetby posthumousComment by JuliBoc: I already commented on this, but it is still one of my all time favorites. The position of yourself in the frame, the color palette, the texture and grunge, all come together to make a masterful impressionistic portrait of a proud and dignified artist. I think this would be great printed on canvas and hung above your mantel piece or on the dining room wall. |

Troll Attack!by posthumousComment by Melethia: Ha! Maybe a bit scary for a 5 year old, but then again, we often underestimate kids and what they can comprehend. Fitting of the frightful situation he finds himself, I think. |
