Pray Together Stay Togetherby posthumousComment by MaryO: This is really interesting, and the title ties it together nicely. The different sized gravestones and the dilapidated church and gray sky combine perfectly in a sad, reflective way. The tones work well with the mood. It's a little soft but I'm not sure that's a bad thing for this image. Very nice overall. |

Hans Van Doorby posthumousComment by Melethia: Like the high contrast and the "what the heck are all those handprints doing there" aspect. Makes me think it's a well loved, well used family car where family matters more than the overblown American tendency to worship their vehicles. |

Hans Van Doorby posthumousComment by magenmarie: I really am diggin this shot! I didn't vote in the free study challenge this time, but I would have given this an 8. I like the black and white. I think it works perfectly for the creepy effect. I also really like the composition. One thing I think I would have liked better would be if the line of the doors was a little bit more to the right. Just a preference thing on my part. Otherwise, the placement of the handprints gives the feeing of someone trying to climb up the side of the car, but slipping downward in failure. I really like it. Nice work. :) |

Falls the Shadowby posthumousComment by Kelli: Dramatic sky, beautiful colors. Excellent post processing. I can't understand why this didn't score higher. I see that people didn't like the shadow, but I think it adds intrigue and interest. Who or what is it? Why are they there? |

Quiet Reflectionby posthumousComment by EBJones: I really like the starkness of the trees in the water against the vibrant colors of the live ones in the background. great shot. |

a maize meantby posthumousComment by sea2c: Some more color in this might have been nice. It feels a bit washed out. Could work great in black and white. |

Hans Van Doorby posthumousComment by Kelli: I loved this! I can't tell you how many times my kids have done this, along with the dog. I once had paw prints from the front of my hood, up the windshield, covering the roof and then off the back windshield for one last push before the dog jumped. I gave it a 7. |
