Duotones Outtakeby posthumousComment by purpleflutterby13: The paint is interesting, and I swear those top 3 windows look like a face. However, there doesn't really seem to be a big enough variation of light and shadow to really make the duotone interesting. |

Literary Outtake 3by posthumousComment by purpleflutterby13: That fence is really cool. And the tree silhouettes work well. Though I'd really like to see the person about 3 steps back so that they seem to be travelling into the picture rather than already reaching their destination. |

literary originalby posthumousComment by purpleflutterby13: I spent the last 5 mins flicking between the two and trying to convince myself that it is indeed the same picture.
I like the nice mist around the houses, which is missing in the final version. However, the addition of a dramatic sky in the final one is what really pulls it off. I actually really quite like both, but they're so different. A testiment to the power of post-processing. |

Convergeby posthumousComment by purpleflutterby13: Not bad. I like how the eye follows the path and only reaches the main subject of the picture after a journey through shadows. The not-quite-symmetry and the slight tilt of the fence make that journey more curved and interesting. |
