Simple, clean and minimalistic - very well done. Love the silhouette of the ship leaving the port. The red sky adds interest and lends itself to the well known saying that the title alludes to. A very strong composition but I wish there was just one extra thing to make the pirate theme even stronger....hmmm, something like cannon fire, but I know it not be possible with the ship ye be sailin';-) (unless this be a real ship and foolish me for thinking it was a model)

Glorious!!!! How incredibly beautiful and well-suited to the challenge. My only nit is that I'd have cropped off the dark portion of the sky and made this a less square composition. I think the darkness draws my eye there, and away from the ship, but it isn't rewarded by anything when I get there.

I like the sense of space in this, and the slightly 'different' composition, but not the 'thing' (?) in the bottom right hand corner. Could it not have gone?
