The composition is not too interesting but the image is eerie: the walking dead reminding of old etching of a Gustave Doré for instance. The weaving pattern of deconstruction is very suitable also.

From the thumbnail, I thought this would be too discordant with limbs going every which way, but once opened and I saw the bird, it settled into a lovely organic harmony. A most complimentary texture and the vignette makes the center shine. Quite stunning actually. Ten from me.

Nice shot of them all taking flight. Reminds me of a shot I entered awhile back-
Despite being a common bird here, they always give me reason to pause and observe their explosion into flight from the water surface, especially in groups. There's just something about that noise, flurry, and transition from floating to walking upon the water to awkwardly attempting to gain altitude.
