You know...Society tends to think that you're frivolous if you think that "Life is a Rose Garden!" However, I think that maybe Life IS a Rose Garden...More Thorns than Blooms! Right? :)

The composition is very pleasant; beautiful rural location. I am curious to know how much of what I am seeing is due to your processing technique. If it was mostly due to processing, would I value it less? I'm not sure. The truth in nature can often be stranger than the fiction of Photoshop processing. Whatever, the composition and eye for the shot count a lot - and you got it right in that respect.

Oh I was sooooo hoping this one would be a ribbon winner. As much in total awe as I was of so many photos in this challenge -- this one was still my favorite of them all! There's something about the perfect synchronization of those wings and their extended necks -- and of course the moon. This photo is one of my favorites of all my favorites! Mega congratulations on a flawless, stunning photo!
