You know, this is just my cynical take on this shot. In all reality, it was probably a stretch to meet the challenge however it was done very well. The detail was extraordinary.

However, had this been a shot of a fabulous sunset, the northern lights, Cannon Beach, or something similar that was just as equally if not more removed from the challenge, the voting population would have gone ga-ga over it and the very same people that DNMC'd you would have given you high scores!

You only have to meet the challenge if your image is not a cliche shot!

It would have been fun if the moon was deep orange on this night, to catch the double complement of red/green and blue/orange. Great capture.
