Message in a bottle?by obsidianComment by Dazmat: And the message is ..... picture is a touch too soft for me. It's good composition and well balanced but the bottle is not sharp enough. Hand held shot? |

Message in a bottle?by obsidianComment by SDW: All the litter in the water is distracting. Looks more like a littered waters edge than a message in a bottle. The bright yellow reflection is more powerful than the bottle. |

P1020741_nn-bw-lips-only.jpgby obsidianComment by CalliopeKel: I think in her case the lips are her best feature. Her eyes are seductive but her lips are full and beg notice. I think her eyes tell the story without enhancement. She is a triple threat...great eyes, lips and body. Wow. Nice re-edits. What was your light source? |

P1020715_nn-bw-red-lips.jpgby obsidianComment by CalliopeKel: In this instance I would focus on the lips and keep the eyes black n white but dodge the iris a little. Maybe bring the lip color under a little more submission. But they sure do look different in B&W. Amazing. |

P1020741_nn-bw-read-lips.jpgby obsidianComment by CalliopeKel: As an ex-cosmetologist, I read that you should focus on the eyes OR the lips when applying makeup or doing photoshoots. Try just doing her lips or eyes but not both in one of your edits, I would love to see it. |

P1020738_nn-bw-lips-eyes.jpgby obsidianComment by CalliopeKel: You know, I was just thinking these photos need to be in B&W the background was way too competing and annoying. Now they pop and have artistic value and are very appealing. |

P1020742_nn.jpgby obsidianComment by Jutilda: In my opinion, this whole series is screaming for high contrast black and white. This pose is kind of unexpected and I like the perspective, but none of the colors seem to work together, so if it were in black and white, we could concentrate on the low to high tones, and not the variations in color. She is quite striking and I love her eyes. |
