 Taken at the beach in Hoek van Holland after I missed my ferry. Simple colourful shot that utilised a polariser on the front.

Noise Ninja, Noise Ninja.... You so deserve a nice clean dSLR! You see, you are so serious with this hobby, approaching girls behind the bar and all to take great shots of them - not the excuse your wife wants to hear I think :)))-. A nice simple dSLR body and a 50 prime lens could help a lot there. Most will still fire your current flash.

I get the hint :-)

You see, you are so serious with this hobby, approaching girls behind the bar and all to take great shots of them - not the excuse your wife wants to hear I think :)))-. A nice simple dSLR body and a 50 prime lens could help a lot there. Most will still fire your current flash.

Great job! You met the challenge's theme quite well. And as much as I like the bottle part of this photo and the water/sand/pebble texture of the photo, that reflection is really a detriment rather than an asset. Maybe a wider angle to show what the reflection belongs to would have made it better.

And the message is ..... picture is a touch too soft for me. It's good composition and well balanced but the bottle is not sharp enough. Hand held shot?

All the litter in the water is distracting. Looks more like a littered waters edge than a message in a bottle. The bright yellow reflection is more powerful than the bottle.

Nice colors and comp but the bottle being open makes it look like trash. Should have put a cork in it. IMO

I guess it's kind of an environmental message...but it would have been a nicer photo to me without the trash in it.

the idea and the composition are good but I think that you have exposed on the reflection and the bottle is too dark.
