I think this picture is a little soft for this challenge. I think this good looking boy̢۪s eyes could have sold it,. you just needed to bring attention to them..

This shot has a lot that is "right." The angle is great, and his expression really sets the mood of the shot. Also, the tree bark background gives it a nice outdoorsy context. The lack of focus is a bit bothersome. It looks like the shutter speed was a hair too slow, and there was some camera shake.

The composition is good - I find the tilt makes it more interesting. The one negative however is that the focus seems very soft - and I don't think that it was done intentionally.
