Ford Fairlane Benchby 777STANComment by Melethia: Now that's an unusual bench! Nice find. Can't say I'm overly thrilled with the desat, but it does isolate your subject and you did a clean job with it. |

A Tree With Heartby 777STANComment by FocusPoint: Hello from Critique Club my friend :)
It is always nice to critique a friend's work, because they can't harm you if I kill their photos LOL ... well, at least I would like to think so :P
Nice capture, good composition. You can see the heart clearly, and you did emphasize with color adjustment and desaturation. I say good work, and it should never get any 2's or 3's... some picky DPCers hit you with 4's, but what can I say.
If I were you, I would have another shot of this tree, with shallower DOF, and make the background more blurry.
Other than that, I think it's a good photo, not an award winner, but you got it man, you did get your shot :)

Yellow Texturesby 777STANComment by PHOTOKID: I thought this shot had some good potential to it, I liked how the stones gave two storng diagonals towards the upper left and right side of the frame. I also thought that the texture of the stones and the slight holes in the paint gave some interest in the photo throughout. The lighting in the upper right was bright enough to attract my attention there first before exploring the photo, and felt if the lighting were more even throughout the entire photo it would accenuate the textures better and not have given the white rock parts the overglow that currently apprear on them in the back upper right. |

Yellow Texturesby 777STANComment by 777STAN: Yospiff, That's Classic! I'm hearing Mr. Spock (while actually looking like he's doing a little horizontal rock climbing) saying, "PAIN!.......PAIN!.......CRY........FOR........THE.........CHIL-DREN! PAIN!" :}

Yellow Texturesby 777STANComment by Dr.Confuser: A stumper, so meets the challenge. I like the foreground/background tension in this. Details are good. You made an interesting DOF choice ... Some might prefer deeper DOF, not sure how I feel about it. |

Yellow Texturesby 777STANComment by Yo_Spiff: Kirk: "Spock... what... is... it...?
Spock: "It's life captain, but not as we know it. TricorderĂ¢„¢ readings indicate it is a sulphur based lifeform. It's primary activity seems to be watching encore presentations of early 21st century reality shows".
Kirk: "Bones... it's... clearly... suffering. Can... you... help...?"
McCoy:"Dammit Jim, I'm a Doctor, not a physician! Um..., oh yea, right."
Kirk: "We... must... help. Phasers... on... disintegrate..." |
