Veinsby ryandComment by heavyj: Love the textures here. I've been wanting to do some macro work similar to this. Love the way you processed it. I think this should've placed much better. |

Inside the Linesby ryandComment by Hendry Jacoby: This is cool, really cool. I guess you used a broken pensil for the effect but the composition, such as the shadows, is excellent. Thumbs up! |

DSC_1422by ryandComment by heavyj: As the others have said before, focus is the issue. I think a higher aperture would've helped out a bit. I would've gone for 2.2 with that lens when doing portraits, then slow down the shutter to about 1/80. I love portraits and when you focus on the nose, the eyes may be quite soft to work with in close with your software to touch things up. |

Inside the Linesby ryandComment by jschro: Creative...wish those lines were a bit cleaner though and that yellow pencil you're holding didn't draw those lines, maybe just a plain old pencil (w/ yellow sides though) would look more convincing. |

Mirror Techniqueby ryandComment by zxaar: I am definitely going to try this mirroring ideas. Might produce some interesting results. |
