UPDATED COMMENT : After much consideration, I've decided this does meet the challenge... Beagles are, afterall, work dogs... Tacking on the points I initially took off... Shot would have worked batter for me without the right side...

Ok were does this fit into the catagory. Nice closeness, but the challenge was for Technology. Was your buddy a by product of a test tube or some other realm of technology???
