Although it may not necessarily be the case that this is posed, it does certainly give the impression of not being 100% candid. The shot is great, lovely expression and the reflections in the eyes are nice, but the white background won't help your score here. I'm voting with benefit of the doubt.

Very crisp and precise, this is an amazing image that has just one minor technical flaw - the light reflections in the eyes. This would have been much more effective if less light was used in composing the image or perhaps if the light were more indirect reducing the reflection. This minor technical issue affects the emotional impact of the image greatly and not in a positive way. If that had been properly controlled, this would have had great impact and been a very strong contender for a top prize - as it is, it will certainly be a top ten image.

This has to be one of my favorites in this challange. So much emotion in those eyes. Beautiful photograph! I would guess this photograph will do very well in the challange. =)
