Quite striking. I wonder if the light were a tad more subtle, if it would have been more interesting, skimming over areas here and there on the orchid. I like the black background. The diagonal sense is interesting to the eye as well.

Thank you for your comments. Not sure what caused the graininess or noise. There was no digital enlargement, the 640 pixel length was 1/3 the total of the original photo. Still new to all this and appreciate the constructive criticism.

These were stamens of the Bourgainvillea plant, taken while I was in Florida last week. They looked like new "baby chick" legs to me, therefore the title.
