Thank you for your comments. Not sure what caused the graininess or noise. There was no digital enlargement, the 640 pixel length was 1/3 the total of the original photo. Still new to all this and appreciate the constructive criticism.
These were stamens of the Bourgainvillea plant, taken while I was in Florida last week. They looked like new "baby chick" legs to me, therefore the title.

Good colors in this shot, but it looks like you've picked up a little bit of noise toward the center of the flower. |
