I love this image as a whole... very good composition, nice exposure... but the red, I dunno, it's a bit too much. perhaps if your subject was complelel colorized I'd like it more, but just the red hair is somewhat distracting.

I don't care for the reflections in the lens from the sun that show up on this image. It is good that you have retained some of the detail in the person and not lost it all with the back lighting.

I think adjusting the levels a bit to make this a true silhouette would improve this, as would rotating a little CW to get the horizon level.

I think this image could be a tad darker. On my moniter, the shirt isn't completly black. I tried an edit of this, PM if you'd like to see it. I like the composition though.

Oh dear - so many classic DPC no nos in this image, I'm afraid it isnt scoring well. Its the little details that can drag down an almost great picture. Remember that your picture is only as good as it;s weakest parts and thats what your score will reflect. Is the horizon straight? that is a fetish of mine because it is so easy to fix. Lens flare? I sort of like it but DPC usually doesn't. Does the extra "sun" right over his head that looks like a bubble ass to the picture? The silouette is marred by something that sticks out on the right, a hand? a keychain? Look at the left hand - something about the angle has turned it into a creepy claw. One more thing that might hurt this image is monitor-calibration-syndrome. It looks very dark on my monitor, barely any detail in the rocks or the person. If voters have an even darker monitor, they might find it too dark.
