Comment by Rebecca:
Hi there from Rebecca of CTP2.

First impression is honestly: WTH? What does this have to do with ninjas? The top of the lemon is way blown out, as well as the upper edge of the lenscap, and the DOF is not working for the lenscap since parts of it are out of focus, and the parts that are in focus aren't sharp enough.

from da critique post II.

How goes it? Sorry this is a tad late but better then never yeah?

So, I really like this shot & its title. Its a nice candid capture. Some things I would do differently tho, are as follows:
- Settings on the cam- if I'm using a 1600 ISO, i would definitely use a faster shutter spped. In fact, I would use a 1/60 shutter spped. Would have avoided the hand trail in the gesture. Also, the lamp prolly wouldn't have been overexposed.
-Since the lamp was a but blown, I would have cropped it out or shot the scene from a different angle.
- Too much neat image or whatever noise remover yu used. It's overkill, at least fo rmy taste.

I do like the colours in the shot, it's deep, subtle & rich. All in all, it's good stuff!
Hope this helps.

CTCP2 Gunnsi
First impression: To much light on the (is it a) "lemon" !!!
Good focus on the bottom of the Lenscap but IMO a bit narrow focus making the top of the lenscap OOF.
The frame is nice, works well with the (is it a) lemon.
What can be better?
Dim the lights on the (is it a) lemon.
Fix the DOF.
