This is quite an interesting take on the challenge. The concept in itself is great however slight improvments could be made to help this image "sing". I like the diagonal composition of the photo. The flames are just right and the color space seems to work pretty well. I think what is lacking here is the focus on the woman's hands. This might have been intentional but I would have probably used f11 or f18 so fully capture the sharpness on the woman's hands. The ring is a slight distraction as it "shines and sparkles" in an otherwise simple monotone (except for the flame) image. Good luck.

I like the colors - especially the shoe laces.
