Very nice! I've been up in that Arch a couple of times and it is amazing! This shot has an IR look to it the way the trees stand out against the sky and the white ground. I agree about the grain..it is kinda neat in the foreground water, but I don't like it in the sky that much. I'm pretty sure I would prefer it without the grain.

You are fortunate for your proximity to this amazing and remarkable construction. The predominate and most interesting structure on the St. Louis city skyline. Unique to the city or any other American city.
I enjoy your Arch gallery & all your photo interpretations of this symbol of the city. The grain effect in this foto and also in this - have the feeling of viewing from afar, through some haze, from a distance, which is usually the way it is casually observed. (even though you are close) I think your Arch fotos thoughtful and articulate.

This is nice. I generally don't... or rarely mention noise but it doesn't seem to do this image justice. This shot screams for crispness in it's detail and all around feel. I really like the crop and the reflection.



That's a different shot but there are oddly a lot of similarities/parallels and I think these settings and pp wouldn't have done this scene well.
