...by phoenix46Comment by melismatica: This is a very engaging subject and I love her smile. My gripe is, since she is not smiling directly into the camera (therefore, at me, the viewer), I'd like to see who she is smiling at. I'm not quite as drawn in as I should be. |

...by phoenix46Comment by e301: Pretty cool stuff, though your chosen framing presents problems I think. Both her gaze and her outstretched arm push the dynamic out of frame, making for a non self-contained photograph, which is a shame. Processing and detail are exemplary. |

...by phoenix46Comment by espy2: I don't usually like comments or give them, but since candids are near and dear to my heart, I have decided to comment on every photo in this challenge.
This is my only 10. I love the character in the woman's face. I love the tones (its my own forte`). The tones used are exceptional. The lace adds quite a bit of interest, and it is obvious this photo was not staged, nor had easy candid targets such as children, babies, or animals. It has great focus as well, and you got in close enough to really capture an endearing emotion. Very well done. I hope if any photo makes top three, it is this one. |
