Beside Derwentby taljComment by boxImmortal: In my opinion the empty space just gives the photo an isolated even peacefull feeling. I think if there were something in that empty space, it would feel cluttered, and you'd lose the effect of the angle of the boat drawing the viewer's eye to the center of the photo. The only thing I would say is that I wish the blues and greens were just a tiny bit more saturated. But it really is an absolutely wonderful photo. |

Derwent Waterby taljComment by igoofry: I like this image. The reflection of the hills in the background and the rocks up close gives a real sense of depth. Once again, I would suggest a little more contrast for the image.
Good job. |

Beside Derwentby taljComment by igoofry: I actually like the angle you used for this picture. The boat leads your eye further back into the picture. I also like the wasrm sunlight hitting the boat. You could try a little more saturation to enhance the color of the boat. Nice shot. |

Morning Calmby taljComment by igoofry: You might try a circular polariser to enhance the sky a little. I would also try a little more contrast the enhance this picture a bit. |

You did well with this. Hope your foot gets better soon! |
Yes, your right about the shadows, it was the 'empty' space on the left of the boat that I wasnt too sure about and would maybe have liked to have been able to explore other angles I suppose.
Thanks for your comments :) |

Derwent Waterby taljComment by SandyP: Natalya, this is stunning! I am so impressed with your talent. I love how the water is so clear in the foreground. . .then the photo takes on almost a misty look in the back, but you can still see that mirror reflection of that mountain. Beautiful work!

Beside Derwentby taljComment by Melethia: Great capture of the light! I don't mind the empty space anywhere in the picture - to me it balances nicely and is very visually pleasing. |
