Buskerby taljComment by justamistere: Good angle, shows dynamic movement.
I would have liked to see more shadows and lights on the face and hat.
And less highlight/contrast of the boom-microphone, which is distracting. The boom-mic pipe may be covered with black duct-tape temporarily or edited in post-processing.
A lighter backgroud for the upper-body and face would emphasize the singer. That would balance the great contrasts. Right now the quantity and brighness of the guitar is what my eyes are first drawn to. If you're selling guitars, then its a different story. |

Buskerby taljComment by strangeghost: I think it works very well. If you're looking for alternative crops, I'd suggest cropping closer on the face. Don't worry if you lose some of the guitar in the process. You could even crop to just below the right hand. Emphasize that expression on his face and the personal connection with the viewer that it brings with it. |

Perfect Sunday Morningby taljComment by karmat: I like the tilt. Of course, I've been accused of being "off-balance" anyway. :) I think it adds "drama" and interest to the shot. :)
The focus is good and the lighting is good. I had no idea people ate baked beans for breakfast. So the picture was educational as well.
Wish I could offer something that would explain only a 5.5, but I'm not sure that I can. Good work. |

Damianby taljComment by Brad: I'm at a loss for what to say Natalya.
I'd rather have 10 years with a soulmate than a lifetime of sharing a residence.
Cherish the 10 years that so many search their whole lives for, yet never find one day of it. |

Perfect Sunday Morningby taljComment by rinac: I liked the set up here and thought the tilt was very effective. Gave it that bit'o'flair. Knew this had to be by a pom too ;) Hubby went off to London last year, and aside from going on about the great curries, he couldn't stop raving about the breakfasts!! :D Message edited by author 2006-10-24 21:14:30. |

Sheena - African Leopardby taljComment by Melethia: Don't know how I missed this one either. Natalya, this is gorgeous! I love the way you've captured her so purely, and the negative space to give her gaze a place to go makes this perfect. |
