I am not diggin this - the focus is clearly on the eyes but it seems that the DOF is just too tight ... the foreground should be sharper IMHO ... The background doesn't blend well and goes over the line to distracting

fabulous photo! I love that if you squint your eyes you can lose the subject but yet the subject is so obvious. This photo is a real accomplishment. Congrats on a recognizing a very sophisticated composition and getting a great capture. .............Boy that comment sounds more pretentious than anything I have ever written here but I really like this shot so I'll bear my own pretention.
