Not Enough Timeby CreativeDotComComment by ChrisW123: It's a little bit blurry. Very nice picture however. Since it's about "little time" you should have composed the pic to show the dates better I think. |

Santuario deChimayo-New Mexico USAby CreativeDotComComment by KarenB: Critique Club Assignment:
Initial: I used to live in Albuquerque.. I miss the Southwest Culture.
Composition: The straight on shot makes this look flat and uninviting to me. A different angle, perspective, or maybe time of day might improve this idea.
Technical: I like the clarity and detail, however, the lighting - although soft - is adding to the flat appearance. Again, perhaps a different angle, or time of day would add interest.
Other: Unfortunately, I don't find this an interesting image.. Sorry.

Santuario deChimayo-New Mexico USAby CreativeDotComComment by PTLParsons: This is a beautiful photo and the mountains behind add to it. This place looks so restful. I'm not good at spanish but kinda looks like a sanitorium. And I could use a rest there about now. I love the colors in this. So typical of that area. This is a fantastic shot worthy of a 9. PTL |

Sand Flow: Strom Coming in Creating a Sand Mistby CreativeDotComComment by CreativeDotCom: I appreciate both your comments. I like the tone curve idea, but I am wondering if it takes away from the softness of the photos. The wind was blowing real had and your tone cureve takes out some of the haze that was caused by flowing sand. I agree that a different angle could have worked better for the photo, however being that I was walking into the wind and saw how neat the sand looked, I just took the picture, it wasn't really planned out very well. Thanks again to both of you! Message edited by author 2003-01-02 10:47:24. |
