Great Shot; it could almost be a Raphael painting where god is on a cloud and reaching down to help ... what's a shame about it, is the back pack it does distract slightly from the rest, but other then that the composition, color and angle of the picture is truly fantastic !!

nice capture of the emotion. wish the focus was a bit tighter. like the contrast, although the rock at the bottom seems "odd" by interrupting the lower man's body.

I loved this image, and still love it! The tone fits perfectly and wonderfully sets the mood. Great choice of the angle: we're faced with a tombstone, but not directly, so as not to force itself on us. The same is with Death: it's there and you can't avoid it, but it doesn't force itself on us, so make the most of life. I try to read what's written, but with some difficulties, while the jewel of the photo, the sentence "In the midst of life we are in death" is clear. So, what's the point of reading further and finding out who lies there? The other grave in the back makes sure that one get's it.
But still, there are trees above everything, so hail to life. I guess...
