Coiled Rope by sherpetComment by PHOTOKID: I do not think this is as good as the other 2, IMO, the sunspot is a bit distrracting and the brightness in the upper right of the photo grasps for your attention over the lovely detail of the rope. I do how ever like the composition in all the photos.

Coiled Rope in Sepiaby sherpetComment by PHOTOKID: I like the sepia better than the color, it seems to give the rope a bit of a personality for all the burs and different colorations of the rope very detailed and attention grasping.

Day 15 - Coiled Rope by sherpetComment by PHOTOKID: This is my personal fav of the 3, the braid of the rope seems more defined and the sun spoting seems less defined over all. you can put my vote in for this one.

Day 15 - Coiled Rope by sherpetComment by jackal9: WOW, you must be the King...err, Queen of rope shots!! lol. These are completely incredible!! love both the B&W and Sepia versions but this time I must say I like the B&W best, these are just too cool! The only thing I see distracting here is the slight lens flare near the top in roughly the middle of the shot, but this is a very minor thing to be sure. Great capture!! |

Day 14 - Twisted Ropeby sherpetComment by SandyP: It's so interesting -- but as I looked at the thumbnails, I was drawn more to the sepia version. But when they opened up -- it was the black and white version that totally wowed me. This is incredible work, Shez. That rope seriously looks like it is here in the room with me! The texture is PHENOMENAL!!!!! Fantastic job!! |
