Rolling Surf from Pt. Cartwrightby sherpetComment by sherpet: This would have to be one of my very best days, in such a long time.
I am over the moon, as you dear "jsas" are the very first DPC member to add one of "MY" images to "Your Favorites", this image "Rolling Surf from Pt. Cartwright"..... THANKS SO MUCH.....
Originally posted by jsas: Oh! Another nice shot! The colors are very good, the foreground takes away from the beautiful shoreline imo. Nice either way. |

Rolling Surf from Pt. Cartwrightby sherpetComment by mpeters: Looks like a great surfing beach. Good composition. My suggestion would be to crop about 1/2" off the top to bring some more focus back to the waves. The area of wet sand looks a little red/yellow but I dont know your beaches and I'll take your word for the colors :)

Survivalby sherpetComment by mpeters: My favorite of the front page 4. Again, love the contrast between earth and sky. The lighting is a little harsh, maybe a midday picture??? The tree in the lower left competes for my attention with the main tree, not necessarly a bad thing, just an observation. Beautiful blue sky. |

White Washby sherpetComment by sherpet: I was really close to these rocks, and the waves were higher that me, quite scary, (I am only a meter in height, or four foot, in the old scale) but loved every minute of the day taking photos..... |

Natures Paletteby sherpetComment by odetta: Great colour and texture, and just enough shadow to bring out the detail in the rock (?) face. Keep up the good work! |
