Now thats what I'd love to be doing right now. In a perfect world, strolling along the beach, just the odd person here and there, surfers out in the sea...ahhh...bliss :o)

great waves and the wide view

I think maybe a bit more foreground would have been better
or just skip it alltogether - because as it is it does not
do good for the picture - I would choose more foreground,
because I think the two persons we can see best down there
add to the photo - or you can use perspective crop in photoshop
and take the grass part away in the foreground and leave the
leaves and the straws and the two people

good luck

Lovely capture on this image Sheryll. The people give it a sense of scale and the waves you captured give it a sense of movement and motion.

This would have to be one of my very best days, in such a long time.

I am over the moon, as you dear "jsas" are the very first DPC member to add one of "MY" images to "Your Favorites", this image "Rolling Surf from Pt. Cartwright"..... THANKS SO MUCH.....

Oh! Another nice shot! The colors are very good, the foreground takes away from the beautiful shoreline imo. Nice either way.

Looks like a great surfing beach. Good composition. My suggestion would be to crop about 1/2" off the top to bring some more focus back to the waves. The area of wet sand looks a little red/yellow but I dont know your beaches and I'll take your word for the colors :)

WOW. What a beach. Composition OK. The colors are a little bit strange IMO and maybe needs some more sharpness.
