White Washby sherpetComment by Katmystiry: I love this. The waves captured perfectly, beautiful white waves reaching for a beautiful blue sky! |

Frangipani Bouquetby sherpetComment by nicklevy: Visually appealing. I'd try to put the flower in the left center more in the left bottom. maybe a litlle less sharpness would improve a bit. Unlike MK, i'd suggest moving to the left to be more diagonal with your subject and close in as much as you can to lessen DOF. It could become a great piece of photography. |

Pt. Cartwright Lighthouseby sherpetComment by cpanaioti: The strong line of the lighthouse works very well with the negative space of the blue sky. The position of the lighthouse in the frame makes the image very dynamic. The diagonal line of the hill also works and is in stark contrast to the strict geometry of the lighthouse. |

Frangipani Bouquetby sherpetComment by sherpet: Being "NEW" to the technical side of photography, I am still not sure about some of your comments, but so eger to learn.
I am trying to finish voting on the "Free Study" before roll-over, so can I get back to you please, to find out if you can advise me about your comments.....
[quote=mk] Beautiful flowers. I'm not sure what the whole bouquet looks like but it seems like perhaps moving a bit to the right would help a bit...the bouquet seems to taper off at the right but not on the left. The white fence and bright spot at the top right are a bit distracting - the part at the top may be helped just by desaturating it a bit. I'm curious about the grain - has this been sharpened quite a bit or are you shooting at a high ISO? [quote=mk] |
