Although sunsets are natural light, I would expect a "portrait" to display something more distinctive about the personality or character of the subject.

Beautiful picture, but hardly a portrait other than orientation and natural lighting. Maybe you were trying to push the definition, but I fear your score will be adversely affected. Still I'll give you a 6 for this shot. It would have been higher if I felt it met the challenge. I saw a beautiful firey cloud sunset over a boat harbor a week or so ago, but alas had no camera.

That water looks like velvet, and the sky is certainly not boring.
I've had a think to myself about landscape shots in this challenge, and basically as i see it this shot is a portrait of natural light, so fits perfectly.
