Day 5 - Take 2by kteachComment by riversong: Both shots are good, but the brightness on the second one is a bit too bright, but this is such a pretty image of such a simple object! I like the angle on this image better....both are pretty.

Day 4 - Lightby kteachComment by Bruce_the_Robert: Good lines, shades (no pun intended) and feel to this image; I think it looks building-like, too, and never would have guessed what it is. |

Day 3 - Clipby kteachComment by Bruce_the_Robert: Perfectly conceived and processed; exactly what I hoped to see in this challenge, and not a thing I would change about it. Can I add a photo of a paperclip to my favorites? Yes, I can :) |

Day 2 - Basketby kteachComment by Bruce_the_Robert: Lovely shades and colors here, though I agree with citymars that I slightly wider DoF might make it a little less abrupt. I like the motion I feel in it along the handle leading to the focused area, too. |

Day 5 - Take 2by kteachComment by kteach: Originally posted by pcody: yes. The deep curve adds much more to the flow. Just gotta ask, do you have your camera set to incandescent wb? I love the color. |
The blue in this case is actually done in photoshop. The wb was set to a preset that I use with my lightbox setup so I would get a more accurate silvery tint of the metal. The original version of this shot was done with the wb on automatic, so when I tried to adjust the coloring on that it had to go from a yellowish tint to blue, which I think made the noise even worse. |
