His name is...by PifflefishComment by goodtempo: the flash makes this picture flat and also some glare spots. besides that the picture of the box is not very interesting. might be better if you took the picture of the thing in the box. |

His name is...by PifflefishComment by PTLParsons: Good focus but cluttered around your subject. The teddy bear to the left should have been moved out of the way and then zoomed out just a little so he doesn't look so crowded. Maybe angle in so you can read the box and see a little more of the hamster. He's obviously the subject, not his box. It's only there to tell who he is. Or that's how I see it. Just my thoughts. But is good focus and subject. PTL |

His name is...by PifflefishComment by RiderGal: Cute idea, but you probably should have tried shooting him from the front, or at an angle so you could still see the toy. Also I would have tried for more blurring of the background to make it a more interesting photo. |

First Contactby PifflefishComment by muckpond: This might have been a good shot for the Superstitions challenge too! I'm not sure how effective this is, though. The photo should tell a story on its own, and this looks like a too-tight macro of a mushroom or something. Perhaps more focus would help? Although you were probably going for the out-of-focus effect. muckpond |
