My heart goes out to this uncle. However, as a Marine, the thought that one of my family might protest in such a way if I were killed in Iraq or Afghanistan horrifies me. The uncle is grieving. I understand and empathize. But if his nephew was anything like most of us in the military, he would not be happy to know that his uncle was doing such a thing. Most of us military-types are diametrically-opposed to the anti-military sorts that march in rallies such as this. Don't confuse that with being politically conservative. It's a kind of exploitation.

I agree with TooCool that I would like to see some more detail in the hair. My chief concern is the floor - in addition to being a tad distracting, in some sense I find the clean, polished look of it to be contradictory to what I perceived the mood of the image to be. Somehow the 'neatness' of it just doesn't square with the stockings, tattoo and the 'falling from grace' idea. But hey, I didn't even notice there was a floor until 30 seconds of staring...

Personally, I love the way the tattoo leads you up and down the body. And speaking of that body... wow, is this a friend??! This might be the hottest shot on DPC :P Fav'd & Great work!
