The one thing I've noticed with tone mapping and HDR, is that if there is a line, the tone mapping breaks up the background. Kind of like the far left wire. The right side of the cloud is dark, but then on the left side of the wire it's light. So the wires make that part of the sky really uneven.

It's a nice looking shot, but the uneven tone mapping ruins it for me.

Gorgeous macro, you got an automatic 7 from me for the great use of borders ;) But you made the subject too easy for the voters!

Something you could try with the white border lines is to drop that layer's opacity to say 80%? I love this style of border (can you tell?), and dialling down the white (or just not having the lines at all) makes it less 'in-your-face' for the haters too.
