Nothing wrong with a setup, especially when we're dealing with ordinary objects here. That's part of the challenge! Perhaps sitting the glasses up (on the top of the lens and the arms) would help you change the angle so that you can get the correct text focused in the lens area, while keeping the other text blurred? Just an idea :) I think it's a nice setup and composition.

Would have taken me a while to figure out this object since it's from a different angle than I'm used to seeing them. Nice contrast with the black... and the other folks are right.. it almost looks like floating glass!
