"Hardwick Old Hall, Derbyshire" is a nice addition into the Window Framed challenge. I have to say congratulations on a new personal best, that is always a wonderful thing to see after the challenge ends.

The photograph itself is very interesting and did grab my attention. I think the image grabbed more of my attention because you left more of the surrounding frame in the shot unlike many of the other entries. I love the rustic appeal with the broken covering on the right-hand side. The composition is very nice. The subject framed looks so prefect it almost looks unreal. Like Konador said there is some halo on the blue in the frame that is showing up, but for me it was pretty minimal. Overall great work!

I like the Black and white BG idea, but don't forget to bring the subject AWAY from the background. All those wrinkles would pretty much disappear in the white sheet if you moved the subject forward another 6 inches or more.

Also, if you deliberately light the BG, it will help get rid of shadows from wrinkles. Same if you put the light behind the sheet.

Not to worry, I made a similar BG lighting mistake on my submission and needed to work hard to correct for it after the shot was taken. :)

Eeek, hope I don't see this in the paper! Must not have been there long, since I can see evidence of blood flow in fingers;) Hope you don't mind a little razzing; because I really like the image. The lighting, composition and focus are quite nice. Just a little more graphic than I'd expect to see in photojournalism.
