Is that a cactus...well it's a damn good abstract of one if it is. The challenge description stated no recognizable objects or something to that effect. There is also a halo edge at the top which I might have tried to clone out or reduce the radius abit in sharpening; however, I think it helps with the fins. the yellows blues and golds (a form of yellow) works well here. I saw some other blues and yellows in the challenge that can't stand in comparison. You chose...wisely! I think I would have tried to get more of the cactus which may or may not help! Good use of shapes, although this image would have trouble in comparison to other images in the challenge. Overall appeal of the image...Priceless! 10...at least that's the way I saw it.
