If it is the dark area above the signs, i don't really think it is an effective display of negative space supporting a subject of your photo. If it is in reference to the WTC, then i don't feel the challenge has been met, because referring to an abstract definition of negative space is not really what this challenge is about, IMO... - jmsetzler |

last stopby jonathansComment by scoombe: this is really cool - you seem to be alluding to the ultimate negative space occupied by the towers themselves - and the sign itself occupies a kind of referential negative space by having a non-existent destination as its subject. and patriotism too! plus of course the formal composure which involves heavy negative space. pretty amazing stuff. did you have to camp at the subway for long? |
