Main Street USAby cowboy221977Comment by giantmike: Hmm, I'm torn. The perspective is somewhat interesting, but I also feel like there may have been a better perspective available. Of course, without being there, I can't say for sure. |

Restoration Parkby cowboy221977Comment by Prash: Love the perspective, and the leading lines. B&W helps too. A little but of contrast adjustment may have brought the details in trees up, and a slightly tighter crop at the bottom could do wonders so one of the lines would meet the corner perfectly.
Good job!

The line to the skyby cowboy221977Comment by Prash: I understand the technical limitations of using a point and shoot etc. etc. But this is a cool image with respect to perspective. Look at how nicely the ropes converge to a single dot! Besides the desire for a little more contrast, I would have loved to see it in a portrait orientation, and perhaps with a slight tilt so the point of convergence is in a corner of the image. Good job!

The Palaceby cowboy221977Comment by ScooterMcNutty: Think this is a good picture.
like: subject. i like pictures of buildings.
what i would have changed: i would adjust the contrast and have it more centered or have more empty space to either side. Possibly sharpen it?

The Train Bridgeby cowboy221977Comment by NiallOTuama: I'm not sure what the tilt is meant to add to this shot. I see it's nearly parallel with the 30 sign... but not enough for that to be the obvious reason. It's also not parallel with the embankment on the left.
I don't think anything's lost/gained with the tilt. |

The Train Bridgeby cowboy221977Comment by giantmike: My first reaction to this was "the tilt looks like a mistake" so you may see some low votes come in from the knee jerk voters. I do like how the tilt gives a sense of action. |
