Rails Through Autumnby IvoryComment by HansonStudios: I like what you've done with the colors and the subjext but question the tree on the left that is still in focus vs. the others at the same distance. I think that it distracts a little from the overall subjext of the tracks and blending. Hope you don't think this rude. |

The Art Of Being Realby IvoryComment by SandyP: I definitely agree with Jutilda! Looks like this was another one where a few jealous trolls thought this photo was a threat. Any vote of 5 or under. . . no 6 or under for this photo is an insult!

The Art Of Being Realby IvoryComment by Judi: This is exceptional. I saw this during the challenge and was blown away. Why it didn't score higher is beyond me. But you have certainly taken a further step in your art. Keep going girl...you rock!! |

The Art Of Being Realby IvoryComment by SandyP: Oh, this is GOOD! And these types of photos go over so well here on dpc (with reason). My guess is this photo is doing very well. As it should be. And my vote will certainly help it along! I vote 9, only because the light may be just a teeeeeeny little bit too bright, but definitely doesn't detract much! Fantastic job! |

Rails Through Autumnby IvoryComment by glad2badad: Nice color, simple image. Traditional leading lines. I like what you've done here. One thing I do find distracting is what appears to be selective use of gaussian blur on the trees in the background. The bare patch of tree that is sharp (couple of areas, one left and one right bg) make it evident that some manipulation was going on. Not that it's not know in general, but when it jumps out at you, well...it's distracting, that's all. With all of that said - I still like it overall. :D Good luck in the challenge. |
