It's a good concept, but there are a few things wrong with this photo:

1) There's a blue cast to the whole thing.
2) The background is odd and doesn't add anything to the photo.
3) The lighting is poor.
4) There are sensor dust spots in the upper right corner.

I think this concept needed a little more development to make a better photo.

and I do not see the smile of the cat!! Framing can be regarded as good, the light and the dominant blue one does not give a beautiful effect.

This is a very nice abstract composition. I like the tension created by the tilted format. Black and white was a good choice. It's probably stretching the theme a bit but I do get a sense of early morning light so you won't get any real protest from me in terms of meeting the challenge.

camera angle or framing different from the practice, to have chosen to lay out the folds in obliques is quite pretty, but darkness is there, a vast black hole which aspires all, even the sight of the photographer.
