Smooth as Silkby JammurComment by bigdipper: I would have put the tumbler sharp in front and the label slightly off-focus behind. After all it is the drink that is supposed to be silky smooth. |

Smooth as Silkby JammurComment by aliqui: I'm fighting the square crop on this. I really want to see the top of the bottle. Missing the bottom isn't bothering me as much. I think the background glass should be a touch more in focus. You're almost completely losing it in the backdrop. I understand that you want it out of focus, but I think you went a little too far with it.
I think the background glass draws attention to the backdrop actually, and I'm not sold on your backdrop. Bringing that glass more in focus would help define it from your cloth. |
