Riu Ripollby bcncrazyComment by bod: The sun is doing its best to spoil this shot, but I'm not sure if it ends up adding to it. The lens flare is not too distracting or ugly, and the rest of the shot is great. Nice work. |

Riu Ripollby bcncrazyComment by Swashbuckler: Pretty stream and valley. I am assuming that's low clouds/haze and that you wanted in the photo. (Bet you're getting "use a haze filter" comments!) But did you really want the two sun flares? (If not, try shading the front of the lens from above, might help some, or a different angle shot). 7 Swash |

Riu Ripollby bcncrazyComment by jimmyn4: I don't mind the lens flare too much but the upper left hand corner is over exposed. Taking the photo earlier would have helped eliminate the flare and possibly overexposed sky. The composition is very nice so I think this same photo at a different time during the day would have made this one even better. |

Riu Ripollby bcncrazyComment by clicker: I think this would be a better shot taken at a different time of day. The light is too strong up front. Nice composition and subject though! |

Riu Ripollby bcncrazyComment by timj351: this looks like an interesting place but I don't find the photo too compelling. It might just be the angle. I would like to see more of the river and less of the washed out sky. It looks like a difficult lighting situation. Have you used a polarizer filter to deepend the blue in the sky and reduce reflections? Any camera with a tripod socket can accomodate one. 5 |

Riu Ripollby bcncrazyComment by HBunch: I'm seeing lots of harsh skies in the landscape challenge. I don't mind the sun flares at all, but I wish that the trees in the back (which are an important part of this landscape) weren't washed out by the sky. The brook is very pretty, and colors are nice in the bottom half of the shot. Good focus and clarity on the brook as well. The angle and framing/cropping is good. I like how the brook sends you into the photo. Good luck in the challenge. |

Riu Ripollby bcncrazyComment by inspzil: I'm sure you've heard enough about sunflares, so I'll spare you that. The focus beyond where the stream bottlenecks is a little soft. A greater DOF would have worked better. Aside from that its a nice pic - Inspzil |

Riu Ripollby bcncrazyComment by joanns: Great spot. This shot would have benefitted from the use of a polarizer. If you can't use one with your camera, you should turn away from the sun to shoot. |
