I have nothing negative to say about the photograph itself as far as technical merit. It is all very well done, lit, and composed. Subject wise, however, I would have gone with a straight flush instead of four aces. Basically, the king, although needed to complete the hand, doesn't play any role. With the straight flush, all the cards would have had a meaning.

That is beautiful. The dark clouds on the top surrounding the image in dark with the light shining through is excellent. In another challenge this could be a winner, in this one it depends on voters interpretation of intimacy.

Not sure what this has to do with 'intimacy'... it seems like you took a pretty photo and wanted to make it fit into the challenge with a title. It's definitely a pretty photo.
