Great texture! I think the noise really adds to the leaf, but not sure it helps the fly. Any thoughts about masking him? I think it might make the whole image pop even more - it's great as is though. Nice work.

Camera Work/Technical: Your focus is very crisp and your depth of field works very well for this image. You captured excellent detail in the foreground and nicely faded into a blurred background.

Lighting: This one looks like it was lit with a flash. If that was the case, your settings were a bit too high. The harsh flash burned some pretty harsh shadows underneath the burned twigs and threw in some highlights that lost a little detail here and there.

Composition/Content: I like the composition that you set up. The positioning of the twigs work well to draw the viewer's eye deep into the frame,

My Opinion: I do like this one much better than your original entry, as did the voters. Nice work on improving an idea.
