A friend of mine went to Photokina in Koeln this year and I asked him to bring me a camera as a present.
This is what I got, I guess I should have been more specific, and ask for a REAL camera (-:
This Cannon-1Ds Mark-II with the EF 600mm f/4.0L IS USM costed him less than the actual camera (I googled-around a bit, the street price is around 12.000€ and he got it for free at the cannon stand), but I can't complain since I actually got a top-20 finish using this camera.
The funny thing is that I took the photograph using a Nikon! |

altarby yianisnComment by cogerox: Not often that a direct shot into the sun works, and this is better than most, but even here it ovepowers everything else in the photo. Backlighting on the columns would help balance the picture. |

altarby yianisnComment by dallasdux: Great positioning of the sun in relation to the alter. 8. I'd make it a 9-10 if the small column was not there on the right as it takes a little away from the framing of the alter between the two large columns. |
