In a set up like this where have you placed the flashes? How far away from you are are they? It looks like one off to the left and on to the right and the 3rd on the camera? How do you deal with spectators getting in the way of the other flashes?

Well done. The DOF is perfect and they way they almost fill the frame keeps our eyes on them and not anything in the blurred background. I like the overall sense of a diagonal line from lower left to upper right. Nice going.

Thanks for the explanation of the speedlights setup. Nice result. You make it look pretty easy... the lighting does not get in the way of the viewing, is what I mean.
